Parking immediately outside was straightforward. Our upstairs bedroom was slightly bigger than the one downstairs. We were very comfortable here. Our host Peter gave us an excellent breakfast.
Dislikes:
No complaints whatsoever.

We couldn't have asked for a more friendly and helpful host and hostess. The hostess knew all the eating locations, transportation facilities and sites in the area. The room was clean and conveniently designed to accommodate luggage, sleep arrangements and leisure activities in a compact space. We had a delightful breakfast surrounded by the host's original artworks. It was delightful! Read less

The people who ran the B & B as well as the comfortable clean environment.
Dislikes:
I believe that my spouse has asked for twin beds or a king size bed. We did not get that room arrangement.

Thanks for good review. The only request on the booking was for non feather pillows, but there is always a next time ? Peter is currently working on a commission for another guest.

Convenient to major roads and a 5-minute walk to centre of village. Friendly, helpful host and hostess.
Dislikes:
The second bed was more a cot than a real twin bed.

The written directions were a bit confusing coming off the A69 from Newcastle.
